2. Scope and Acceptance
These Terms and Conditions govern the contractual relationship between Transport Premium and any individual or legal entity (hereinafter "Client") who requests or engages its vehicle transport services.
Submitting a quote request, confirming a booking, or using our services constitutes full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Conditions and a specific commercial proposal, the conditions set out in the proposal accepted by the Client shall prevail.
3. Services Provided
Transport Premium provides the following services:
- Exclusive vehicle transport in enclosed trailers;
- Delivery of vehicles to end clients on behalf of dealerships or private owners;
- Vehicle transport during holidays or extended periods of absence;
- Post-repair transport between workshops and owners;
- Relocation of vehicles between European countries;
- Collection and transport of vehicles purchased abroad.
Services are provided exclusively by road, within continental Europe. We do not operate maritime crossings or transport to island regions.
4. Quote Request and Booking
Quote requests are free of charge and non-binding. Upon review, Transport Premium will send the Client a detailed proposal. A booking is only confirmed upon written confirmation from Transport Premium and, where applicable, after payment of the agreed deposit.
The transport date indicated is always subject to availability and confirmation. In the event of unavailability, Transport Premium will propose alternative dates.
5. Client Obligations
The Client agrees to:
- Provide accurate and complete information regarding the vehicle, collection location and delivery location;
- Ensure the vehicle is accessible and ready for transport at the agreed date and time;
- Remove personal belongings, documents and valuables from the vehicle interior prior to collection;
- Inform Transport Premium of any special vehicle characteristics (non-standard dimensions, low suspension, pre-existing damage, etc.);
- Notify Transport Premium in advance if the vehicle is not driveable under its own power.
It is recommended that the Client maintain their own vehicle insurance throughout the transport period, where applicable.
6. Vehicle Condition and Inspection
Prior to collection, a vehicle condition report (visual inspection) is carried out with photographic records, signed by both parties or confirmed by email. This report serves as the reference for any claims relating to damage occurring during transport.
The Client must report any visible damage at the time of delivery by means of a written reservation on the delivery report. Where damage is not immediately apparent, it must be reported as soon as it is discovered and within the applicable statutory time limit.
7. Liability of Transport Premium
Transport Premium undertakes to transport the vehicle with the utmost care. Our liability is limited to damage directly caused during transport, duly documented and proven.
We are not liable for:
- Pre-existing damage not recorded prior to collection;
- Items left inside the vehicle;
- Delays caused by weather conditions, traffic restrictions, strikes, fires, wars, pandemics, border closures or other force majeure events;
- Mechanical or electrical failure of the vehicle itself during transport.
In any event, Transport Premium's liability is limited to direct damages proven to have been caused during the provision of the service. Loss of profit, indirect losses and consequential damages are excluded, save where mandatory statutory provisions provide otherwise.
8. Transport Insurance
Transport Premium holds professional civil liability insurance for vehicle transport operations. For international transport, services are carried out under the CMR Convention, and the corresponding liability limits apply.
Transport Premium's liability is limited to the amounts and conditions set out in the insurance policy in force and under applicable law.
For vehicles whose value exceeds the standard policy coverage, we recommend the Client arrange additional insurance with their own insurer. Coverage details are available upon request.
9. Payment
The price and payment terms are defined in the proposal sent to the Client. Prices may be subject to VAT at the applicable legal rate, as indicated in the proposal. Unless otherwise agreed, the following general conditions apply:
- Full payment or agreed deposit before transport begins;
- Accepted payment methods are stated in the proposal;
- In the event of late payment, Transport Premium reserves the right to suspend or cancel the service.
10. Cancellation and Rescheduling
The Client may cancel or reschedule the service upon written notice. The following cancellation terms apply:
- More than 72 hours in advance: full refund of any deposit paid, no penalties;
- Between 24 and 72 hours in advance: retention of 50% of the deposit;
- Less than 24 hours or on the day: full loss of deposit and possible charge for additional costs incurred.
Where a vehicle collection journey has already commenced, the costs actually incurred may be charged regardless of the notice period given.
Transport Premium reserves the right to cancel or postpone the service in cases of force majeure, with a full refund of any amounts already paid.
11. Vehicle Unavailability
If the vehicle is not available at the agreed location and time, or cannot be loaded due to a reason attributable to the Client, Transport Premium may charge for the costs of the journey made and reschedule the service subject to availability.
12. Non-Operational Vehicles
The Client must notify Transport Premium in advance if the vehicle is not driveable under its own power. Failure to provide this information may result in additional costs or inability to carry out the service on the agreed date.
13. Intellectual Property

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese law. In the event of a dispute, the competent court shall be that of the district where Transport Premium has its registered office, without prejudice to mandatory statutory provisions applicable to consumers.
17. Complaints
Clients based in Portugal may submit a complaint via the Electronic Complaints Book (Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico), available at livroreclamacoes.pt. Alternative dispute resolution entities may also be contacted where applicable.
